So lately every time I turn on the radio its always YMCMB or MMG.

I am so sick and tired of the over saturation of these two music cliques.

I stopped buying albums a long time ago and rely heavily upon mixtapes/Indie artists to get my music fix.

I got this mixtape I am listening to now that is in heavy rotation with only 2 others.

It's by bronx rapper Mysonne the name of it is Definition of a G part 2.

I can actually listen to it from start to finish w/o skipping around.

I rotate this mixtape with another from a very talented local artist named Doe Rilla.

His mixtape The Transaction is also fire.  I need to listen to music I feel I can relate to.

The only mixtape by a female that I have in rotation since Remy Ma's been locked up is The Truth by Persia. She spits that realness I can relate to as well. Her track Persia's Room really hits close to home.

I wonder what her sophmore release will bring.

Mainstream Hip Hop aint dead yet it's just full of everyone trying to  sound like everyone else right now. Since when did it become cool to go with the flow and sound alike?
Where is the diversity that initially got this movement started?
